The cost is $225 payable via credit card on the APNCC website or mailing a check to the Activity Professional Credentialing Center Office
*IMPORTANT: A certificate verifying you passed the exam with your score will be sent via email.
Exam information: Average Time = 1 hour, 12 minutes
Board Certification
Additional Exam Information Continued
The time allotted is 1 hour 30 minutes
Passing score is 75% or better
The exam must be completed within 6 months of application
In the unlikely event of failure, the exam can be re-taken for a fee of $100

- Take on a computer you are familiar with-NOT a tablet or phone
- Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed
- Have plenty of liquids-keep hydrated
- You can skip a question and come back to it
- Read each question carefully

- Think positive
Practice Exam
A practice exam of 15 multiple choice questions is available to those interested
There is no fee to take the practice exam
It is there for you to become familiar with the format of the competency exam
You may take it twice
